Once you are used as a voice actor one time in a machinima, the director may decide to recast you again in other machinimas if you are good. Then, you will be listed in the voice actor column on the staff page.
Requirements
To audition, you must:
1. Not have a high-pitched voice, if you are a male

4. Computer

6. External Microphone (must be of good quality and not the mic that is included within your laptop or Xbox

Walkthrough
1. Download the Audacity Audio Recording/Editing Program. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
Trusted by most machinima studios including Arbiter617, virus free, doesnt take up a large amount of space.
2. Email [email protected], stating what machinima and part you want to try out for and your Xbox Live gamertag.
You will then recieve an email back with the audition lines.
3. Record your lines in Audacity. Make sure to leave 3 seconds of complete silence in the beginning and end of your recording. Once you are happy with your lines, follow these steps. Highlight the silent part of your audition in the beginning, then go to the "Effect" tab, scroll down to "Noise Removal", and select "Get Noise Profile". Then go back and highlight your entire audition, go back to "Noise Removal" on the "Edit" tab, and proceed to select remove noise, and if necessary, click ok. Then export the file as an MP3 file.
